I am so proud to share some big news about our team at Disability Lead. As we continue to grow our impact and deepen our work, our Board has approved several promotions that reflect the leadership already shaping our organization every day.
Over the past few years, we have expanded our reach, strengthened our programs, and built a clearer vision for what disability leadership can look like across the country. Our work in Chicago continues to evolve, and the launch of our Southwestern Pennsylvania chapter signals a new phase of growth. We are building toward a future where more regions have access to the kind of community, connection, and leadership development that Disability Lead fosters. These staff changes position us to lead that expansion with intention and care.
Risa Rifkind is stepping into the role of Chief Strategy Officer, where she will guide our expansion work, help us think boldly about innovation, and keep us aligned with our long-term growth priorities. Risa has been a steady strategic voice for years, and this role reflects the influence she already brings to our direction.
Clare Killy is now our Director of Programs, leading the strategy, design, and delivery of our core programs. Clare’s clarity, creativity, and deep commitment to our Members show up in everything she touches. She has a gift for turning big ideas into experiences that truly support leadership.
Jenn Jones is now our Director of Operations and HR, stewarding the internal systems and staff support that keep us grounded and able to grow. Jenn brings such thoughtfulness to the way we build culture, processes, and care for our team.
Anne Renna is now our Director of Development, leading our fundraising strategy and donor engagement. Anne has helped strengthen our relationships and open new doors for Disability Lead, ensuring we have the resources to meet our mission.
I feel incredibly lucky to work alongside this team. These promotions reflect not only their individual strengths, but also the direction we are heading together. I cannot wait for what comes next.
