Disability Pride Parade Brekfast with the Economic Club and the MacArthur Foundation

Join Disability Lead, the Economic Club of Chicago, and the MacArthur Foundation for a special Pre-Parade Breakfast before the 2026 Chicago Disability Pride Parade. This casual gathering will bring together leaders from across business, philanthropy, government, and the disability community for meaningful conversation, connection, and celebration of Disability Pride.

What to Expect

• Coffee, doughnuts, and light refreshments
• Networking with Disability Lead Members and Economic Club of Chicago members
• Brief program featuring reflections on disability pride and leadership
• Opportunities to connect with leaders across sectors
• Group photo and parade orientation before begins

Parade Participation

At 10:30 AM, attendees can:

• Walk in the Disability Pride Parade with Disability Lead, Access Living, or other community organizations, OR
• Join the MacArthur Foundation cheering section along the parade route.

Accessibility

• ASL interpretation throughout the event
• CART (real-time captioning) during the program
• Personal Care Attendant (PCA)
