Date: Thursday, July 31, 2025

Time: 5:30 PM Doors Open | 6:00 PM Program

Unlocking Leadership. Unlocking Change. Join the Movement.

What to Expect

This is a bold gathering of the region’s most forward-thinking leaders, disruptors, and champions of leadership equity. Whether you're stepping into this space as a funder, advocate, ally, or aspiring leader, this event is designed to spark momentum and build new relationships.

Together, we will:

  • Unveil a bold new vision for disability leadership in Southwestern Pennsylvania
  • Celebrate the appointment of our inaugural Regional Director and the powerful network already taking shape
  • Hear from civic, corporate, and philanthropic changemakers on why this moment matters
  • Build new relationships across sectors over great food, conversation, and shared purpose

This is the beginning of something big, and we want you in the room as it takes off.

Why It Matters

Right now, fewer than 4% of Pittsburgh’s organizations include disability leadership in their workforce strategies. Disability Lead is here to change that.

With support from FISA Foundation, Heinz Endowments, and Staunton Farm Foundation, this expansion marks the largest investment in disability leadership in SWPA history.

This event kicks off our commitment to building an inclusive, visible, and powerful network of leaders who reflect the full diversity of the region.

Accessibility

The event space is accessible including the entrance, bathroom, and reception space. CART and ASL will be provided.  To request accommodations please include it in the registration form or contact Disability Lead at info@disabilitylead.org.

RSVP

This is a high-demand event with limited capacity. Please reserve your spot by July 24, 2025.

COVID-19 Protocols

As COVID-19 continues to impact our communities — and because there will be immunocompromised and medically vulnerable people in attendance — we need your help to create and maintain a safer environment for all. It is our collective responsibility to follow the following guidance and we appreciate your cooperation in advance. Staff will not be able to enforce these protocols so please keep yourself accountable.

For indoor spaces, masks are required for the entire event except when actively eating, drinking, or presenting.

For outdoor spaces, masks are optional.

Guests must be up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations unless medically exempt. If you're medically exempt, please take a COVID-19 antigen test within 24 hours of attending and only attend if your test is negative.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19, are waiting for COVID-19 test results, have COVID-19 symptoms, feel sick or unwell, or have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 or is sick, please do not attend.

Masks, including clear masks, will be available at all Disability Lead-hosted events. N95 masks are preferred. Please note that if we are in shared space including the lobby space, the elevator, and bathrooms, we may not be able to control those spaces and masking.

If you test positive for COVID-19 within 4 days following the event, please immediately contact us. We will notify all attendees if a case has been reported to us.
