
Aimee Weiss is a strategist, philanthropic advisor, systems builder, and founder.
Principal at the social impact consulting firm Lily Pool, Aimee has more than 20 years of experience advising philanthropies, mission-driven organizations, and movement groups in education, human rights, and public health. She leads and supports strategic planning, development, and justice-driven growth, with particular expertise in scaling early/growth-stage ventures.
After a career in international education startups, she worked in philanthropy with extensive experience building grantmaking entities and discrete levers of change from conception to execution and impact. Prior to Lily Pool, she was Chief Program Officer at a private foundation in New York City for more than a decade.
Aimee organizes around public health and infection-associated chronic conditions since the COVID-19 pandemic began in spring 2020. She co-founded the Long COVID Funder Network and Mapping Long COVID project, and was on the leadership team of Patient-Led Research Collaborative. She has advised a dozen more organizations and campaigns in the field.
Proud founding board member of Inheritance Theater Project, a civic arts organization, she currently chairs the impact and strategy committee.
Aimee graduated from American University and earned both her Master of Public Administration and Master of Arts from New York University. She lives in Chicago and enjoys live music, reading at Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool (her firm’s namesake), and spending Shabbat with her grandfather.
